In a joint seminar offered by the Architecture and Music departments at the University of Siegen, students used the specific methods of their respective disciplines to explore, analyze, and investigate the consequences of industrial change in order to better understand the scope and significance of this ongoing process. In a second step, they responded artistically to their findings—resulting in short films that delve deeply into a particular aspect and portray it powerfully. The results of this project are presented here for the first time as film premieres.
