External networking with experts at state and national level brings fresh perspectives, prevents silo thinking and strengthens the institutionalization of diversity strategies. Networks offer collegial advice, the exchange of best practices and have an impact on politics and the science system.
Nationwide network Diversity at universities (co-spokesperson since 2024)
The Network Diversity at Universities is made up of employees who are entrusted with the implementation of diversity and anti-discrimination tasks at German universities on an operational and strategic level in an intersectional and power-critical manner.
Anti-discrimination network at universities (federal government & state of NRW)
The nationwide Anti-Discrimination Network at Universities has been committed to professional and sustainable anti-discrimination work in the higher education landscape since 2018. As an open association of stakeholders from around 100 universities and higher education institutions, it promotes exchange, strengthens the professionalization of anti-discrimination work and positions anti-discrimination as a strategic topic in higher education development.
