Ceremonial opening of the Wednesday Academy
The winter semester of the Wednesday Academy will be ceremoniously opened on November 12.
In times of declining church membership, the question arises as to what political contribution Christianity can be expected to make to democracy. Prof. Dr. Peter Schallenberg takes up this question and pleads for an idealistic view of humanity in this respect.
He will give his lecture on the topic of "Virtues in democracy: the political relevance of Christianity".
