The laws that govern the quantum world often contradict our everyday experience and therefore seem very incomprehensible. On the other hand, they have been proven by countless experiments in the microcosm. For a long time, these laws, which were discovered exactly 100 years ago, were purely basic research, far removed from any practical application. Recently, however, quantum computing has emerged as a practical application that could revolutionize computer development. The University of Siegen is playing an internationally visible role here with its own quantum computer from the company spin-off eleQtron and its participation in clusters of excellence.
This complex topic is presented in an attractive and exciting way for non-experts using acrobatics, music, singing and lectures.
