Fast Forward - Tandem Program+ for newly appointed female professors

Fast Forward. Tandem Program+ facilitates the arrival of newly appointed female professors at the University of Siegen through workshops and networking opportunities. Whether it is their first professorship or a change of university, they are supported for six months by an experienced female professor from our University who is there to help and advise them.

What to Expect from the Program

Every October/November, a new season begins with newly appointed female professors, who are accompanied by a female professor from the University of Siegen for six months. Their tandem partner provides them with valuable tips and gives them the opportunity to network with her and exchange ideas on a collegial level. The matching and introduction of the female professor tandems is carried out by the coordination team.

By participating in the supporting program, they get to know the other participants, make further contacts, and benefit from top-class workshops. If required, we can also arrange individual coaching sessions. Participation ends with a final meeting in May of the following year.
