Assistant (SHK/WHB) wanted!
We are looking for a SHK/WHB in the Department of Protestant Theology - Exegesis and Theology of the New Testament to start as soon as possible
In Faculty I (Faculty of Arts and Humanities), Seminar for Protestant Theology, Department of Exegesis and Theology of the New Testament, we are looking for a student assistant (SHK) or a research assistant with a Bachelor's degree (WHB) to start as soon as possible under the following conditions:
4 hours per week
Temporary for 1 year with the possibility of extension
Employment on the basis of the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz
Your tasks:
Provision of academic support activities, e.g. proofreading
Support with preparatory work for research, e.g. library work and research
Support with the organization of courses, conferences and excursions
Your profile:
Enrolment in a degree program in Protestant Theology at the University of Siegen
At least good academic performance, very good knowledge of German and English
Interest in working in an academic environment and interest in the New Testament
Attention to detail (especially in spelling and formatting), reliability, punctuality
Ability to work independently with MS Office (esp.especially Word, PowerPoint) and PDF files
Graecum/Greek language skills an advantage
