More appreciation for the everyday nature of entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship takes place in many different ways. Accordingly, according to Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Friederike Welter, entrepreneurship researchers should broaden their view - and look beyond the conventional standard models. "Such an approach helps both politicians and society to take a more realistic view of entrepreneurship - and to appreciate it," explained the Siegen professor in her keynote speech at the workshop "Small Acts, Big Changes: Connecting Everyday and Social Entrepreneurship" at the Aalto University School of Business (Finland) at the beginning of October. She then took part in the editor panel.
