Prof. Dr. Jasmin Grosinger appointed as Chair of Communication Engineering (CCE)
On October 1, 2025, Prof. Dr. Jasmin Grosinger joined the University of Siegen as the new Chair of Communication Engineering. She received her PhD from Vienna University of Technology and conducted part of her doctoral research at Disney Research in Pittsburgh, USA. Before joining Siegen, she served as Assistant and later Associate Professor at the Institute of Microwave and Photonic Engineering at Graz University of Technology, Austria. She also held research positions at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and Tohoku University in Japan.
Her research focuses on sustainable and energy-efficient wireless communication and sensor systems for the Internet of Things (IoT) and industrial digitalization.
