The House of Young Talents (HYT) at the University of Siegen is your central point of contact for individual advice and support during your doctorate. We support you with a wide range of qualification programs that strengthen both academic and interdisciplinary skills. The workshops and seminars on offer cover topics such as academic writing, project management and presentation techniques.
In cooperation with the Research Funding Office, we also support you in acquiring third-party funding and scholarships in order to realize your research projects in the best possible way.
Financial support and individual advice
In addition to non-material support, the HYT also offers financial funding opportunities. Through the HYT Young Academy, scholarships are awarded to excellent doctoral candidates who are at the beginning of their academic careers. These include a monthly basic grant as well as annual material resources to support your research.
In addition, you have access to advice and, as a post-doc or junior professor, coaching services to support you in your career planning and help you achieve your academic goals.
