Seven Years of China’s Private International Law Act

To mark the seventh anniversary of China’s Private International Law Act, Prof. Rösler will speak at a conference in Nanjing in December 2018 on public policy and overriding mandatory provisions.

China’s Private International Law Act (German version: RabelsZ 76 (2012), 161; English translation (PDF)) is celebrating its seventh anniversary. To mark the occasion, the German-Chinese Institute for Legal Studies—a joint project of Georg-August University of Göttingen and Nanjing University—is hosting a conference in Nanjing from December 14 to 16, 2018, featuring Chinese and German experts. Prof. Rösler will speak on public policy and overriding mandatory provisions before continuing on to deliver two lectures at Tongji University in Shanghai (see the report on the IMKR website).
