Presence:Digital

From a university didactics perspective, this opens up a wide range of possibilities for face-to-face, distance and hybrid teaching/learning formats as well as for self-directed learning.

In this way, differentiated forms of knowledge acquisition, collaboration and the individualization of learning processes are promoted, which at the same time contribute to the further development of didactic concepts and methods.

Generative artificial intelligence in university teaching

The integration of generative artificial intelligence into university teaching strengthens the field of action of university didactics. It requires the continuous reflection and (re)design of teaching, learning and examination practices in the field of tension between technical innovation, scientific integrity and pedagogical responsibility.

  • to enable teachers to use AI-supported tools in a critical, reflective and learning-effective way
  • provide guidance on issues of role change, skills development and learning culture
  • mediate between technological potential and didactic responsibility
  • support teachers in developing learning objectives, methodological design and examination formats, as well as questions of academic honesty and ethics
  • to make the roles and tasks of teachers and learners in the educational process transparent and to promote their responsible implementation
