Scholarship for international exchange students
The Faculty I: Faculty of Arts and Humanities offers four partial scholarships for international exchange students each year.
Current application periods and deadlines
- 15.04. to 01.05. for a stay in the winter semester (October to February) Application deadline extended to June 15, 2025
- 15.10. to 01.11. for a stay in the summer semester (April to July)
Our goals
Recipients of the partial scholarships are given the opportunity as part of a student exchange to
- expand their own studies,
- enter into international and interdisciplinary dialog,
- gain insight into other academic and teaching departments.
Who can receive a partial scholarship?
- B.A. and M.A. students from selected partner universities of the Faculty I: Faculty of Arts and Humanities
- "Freemovers" from universities without partner status, with a nomination by a lecturer of the Faculty I: Faculty of Arts and Humanities
How long is the partial scholarship paid for?
The partial scholarship is paid for the duration of the lecture period of a semester. This corresponds to 4-5 months; either October to January/February or April to July. The exact period depends on the respective lecture period and the date of the last examination.
How much is the partial scholarship?
500€ per month for the duration of the stay (4-5 months, maximum total of 2500€).
How can you apply?
- Follow the detailed guidelines for the partial scholarship to make sure you are eligible for it
- Complete the application form and obtain the required documents
- Submit your application and other documents to the International Affairs Office (Dr. Pacas).
They will also answer any questions you may have.
