Semester fee at the University of Siegen
You have applied for enrollment for the summer semester 2026 at the University of Siegen or would like to re-register for the summer semester 2026. We are very happy about that! Enrollment or re-registration will take effect once you have paid the semester fee of € 372.80 into the account below
Foreign students in the German course (preparatory German course for DSH preparation - not the intensive course before the start of the semester) please transfer an additional € 500.00, i.e. a total of € 872.80.
You have applied for enrollment at the University of Siegen and have already received the welcome email with all the useful information about starting your studies, including your matriculation number and payment request? Then please transfer the semester fee to the bank account below as soon as possible to complete your enrollment and use all the functions of unisono
functions. Your matriculation number is now also your unisono user name. The password has not changed. After your payment has been booked, you will receive an e-mail with the confirmation and further information.
Are you already studying at the University of Siegen and would like to re-register? Then transfer the semester fee to the bank account listed below by March 3, 2026. If the payment is not received in the account by this date, an additional reminder fee of € 10.00 will be charged. Please note that there may be circumstances that prevent you from re-registering (re-registration block). You can see whether this is the case in your unisono account (My studies -> Student services -> Blocks). If this is the case, you should contact your contact person at the Registrar's Office

The semester fee consists of
- Germany semester ticket: € 208.80 (information can be found here)
- Solidarity contribution: € 4.00
- Social contribution Studierendenwerk: € 140.00
- AStA contribution: € 20.00
- for foreign students in the German course additionally: 500,00
