Support with IT procurement

ZIMT supports employees with IT procurement and acts as a central point of contact for the procurement of administrative IT at the University of Siegen.

Equipment recommendations are regularly drawn up and provided for certain types of workstation (desktop PC, laptop, workstation). This also applies to advice on and procurement of servers.

As the central point of contact for the university's administrative IT, ZIMT is also responsible for procurement.

The university has concluded framework agreements to simplify the procurement process.

If you have any further questions regarding the procurement process, please contact the staff responsible in Department 1.3 "Procurement".

 

Configurations

 

Computers from the new framework agreement (Lenovo) have not yet been tested by ZIMT. Recommendations will be updated as soon as the devices have been tested.
