Master of Arts (M.A.)

The stidy program qualifies graduates for positions of responsibility in the following fields of activity: international governmental and non-governmental organizations, development aid organizations and non-governmental organizations, public and private educational and research institutions, institutions in the cultural sector, publishing houses, agencies and media of international and intercultural communication, political parties, associations, political and cultural foundations and other private-law organizations, international and internationally oriented companies.

Additionally, the degree opens up opportunities for further academic qualification as part of a doctorate in the participating subjects of history, political science and sociology as well as in the doctoral subject of cultural studies.

phil: Student counseling

The phil: Student Advisory Service is the first point of contact in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities for all questions regarding the course of studies, the organization of your studies, the preparation of your timetable and all other study-related topics.

The student advisory service for academic questions is made up of lecturers from the seminars responsible for your degree program. They can advise you on the specific content and technical details of the degree program.

The Examinations Office of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities advises and supports you and your (electronic) study file with all your study and examination achievements, including your degree.
