Students alternate between studying in Siegen and Orléans: the first year takes place at the home university in Siegen, followed by a shared second year at the University of Orléans. In the third year, both the German and French cohorts return together to Siegen. The program also includes a required internship in a French-speaking country and concludes with a German-French double degree.

Admission to the degree program is restricted. All candidates must apply for a slot. You must also register at hochschulstart.de.

A prerequisite for admission is proof of special language skills (level B2 for French and English), which is generally proven by the university entrance qualification such as the German Abitur. It is strongly recommended, although not mandatory, that you take a language test before starting your studies, which serves as a basis for a subsequent consultation between prospective students and teachers.

In the bachelor's degree program of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, you can combine different subjects in a variety of ways. The B.A. in European Business Communication can be studied as a single subject degree program.
