It is the binding basis for the development of media concepts in schools and the successive revision of all curricula for all types of schools at primary and lower secondary level. |
Media concept workThe NRW media competence framework is the basis for the development of an internal school media concept. All schools in North Rhine-Westphalia are obliged to draw up a media concept according to their educational needs and based on the equipment already available, which is oriented towards the school program and also contains a school-specific qualification concept. |

LOGINEO NRWUnder the name Logineo NRW, the state of NRW provides schools with various digital tools for school and lesson development. Initially, this was primarily a digital work and communication platform designed to simplify school processes while complying with data protection requirements. The LOGINEO NRW LMS, a digital learning platform for lessons, and the LOGINEO NRW Messenger, which enables digital communication between teachers and pupils, have since been added. Video conferences can now also be held using the messenger. |
Media Scouts NRWThe Medienscouts NRW project helps schools to preventively address and deal with problems such as cyberbullying, sexting, data misuse and excessive media use in everyday school life. In the project, young people trained as media scouts advise pupils on their media use and answer any questions they may have about smartphone use, social networks, the internet and other topics. With the help of the project, pupils learn and impart the skills required for safe, fair and self-determined use of digital media through the "peer education" approach.
