Doctoral degree regulations
Since February 8, 2021, the doctoral regulations for obtaining the degree of Doctor of Economics (Dr. rer. pol.) and Doctor of Law (Dr. iur.) have been adapted and are binding.
All doctoral students enrolled under the old regulations can continue their doctorate under the new regulations. There are transitional periods.
New enrolments are only possible under the new regulations.
Decision of the DEWR doctoral committee from 24.03.2021:
If a dissertation started according to the PromO DEWR is submitted after the expiry of this PromO DEWR on 16.07.2021 without the further requirements required from then on in § 11 para. 2 gPromO being met, the procedure cannot be opened until the missing requirements are subsequently submitted.
