E-mail

University members can have newsletters sent by e-mail as part of their Schools or institution in order to provide the university or dedicated groups at the university with superordinate information. And this is how it works...

Instructions

  • Compose your circular mail.

  • If you need help with the wording, please contact the Press Office.

  • First send the finished draft to the Rectorate with a request for approval.

  • If your circular has been approved by the Rectorate, please contact the ZIMT Support Desk with a request to send it internally.

Notes on circulars

  • Your circular mail must have a clear reference to the university and your studies.

  • Keep your circular mail as short as possible.

  • Limit the number of e-mails to what is necessary. Please note that, unlike other e-mail distribution lists, you cannot unsubscribe from the mailing lists.

  • If you would like to send emails with several 100 recipients from your own mailbox, you must temporarily increase the recipient limit of your mailboxat https://selfservice.zimt.uni-siegen.de.

  • You can find instructions on how to increase the recipient limit here.
