, he examines cases legally classified as attempted manslaughter in which relatively everyday conflict situations suddenly turn into serious violence. The focus is on four exemplary cases in which young people kick and stamp on people lying on the ground without cause. The work analyzes these cases on the basis of court files, qualitative interviews with the investigating officers and video recordings of the acts.
