Module 2 – Data Protection and Data Security
Part of the "Medical Informatics" continuing education course for physicians
Course Content
The course content is based on the course textbook “Medical Informatics” published by the German Medical Association.
Topics covered in this module include: principles and measures for ensuring data protection and data security, legal foundations, and the development of data protection strategies.
Scope
The module consists of 20 teaching units. Three online seminars will be held (Dec. 2, 9, and 16). To prepare, you can work through the e-learning content on Moodle. The module concludes with a project and an online exam (multiple-choice test).

Medical Informatics
At the University of Siegen, you can complete the continuing education program, which consists of a total of 10 modules (240 hours of coursework). All modules are offered annually, and you can start with any module.
