Instructions for submitting election proposals:
- Election proposals must be submitted to the election committee of the respective Schools by 22.05.2026, 15:00 at the latest. Election proposals must be submitted electronically to the election committee of the respective Schools via the liaison officer. Only the university e-mail address may be used for this purpose. Nominations can only be submitted by university members from the student group who are entitled to vote. The persons nominated must belong to the same group and the same constituency as the eligible voters submitting the nomination. If there is no indication to the contrary on the election proposal, the person named first is deemed to be authorized to receive declarations from the election committee (person of trust).
- For each nomination, candidates must submit electronically authenticated declarations that they agree with their candidacy. This declaration is binding.
- The nominations should contain at least as many candidates as there are members to be elected in the group of students.
- When drawing up lists and candidacies, attention should be paid to the different representation of Interests within a group and to the equal representation of women and men. If this is not achieved despite intensive efforts, a written declaration is required. You can find a corresponding form on the election page of the committees (https://www.uni-siegen.de/wahlen).
- The election proposal must be supported by at least two members from the student group, who must be entered in the table below. In addition, [the corresponding form or the electronic declaration for supporters provided via the university email account] must be used and attached to the election proposal for the respective supporter. This form must be submitted via the university e-mail address. Each person entitled to vote may only support one election proposal. If several nominations are supported, only the support for the nomination received first applies. Support for the other nominations must be deleted. If the election proposal has fewer than two supporters as a result, it is invalid. A person may not support their own candidacy.
- Each candidate may only be named in one nomination. If a person is nominated in several election proposals, the election proposal received first applies. The candidacy will be deleted from the remaining nominations. In the event of simultaneous receipt, the nomination in which nomination is deleted is decided by drawing lots.
