Forging International Talents - FIT in Siegen
The "Forging International Talents " project is organized by the International Office in collaboration with the Career Service and Language Centre. It supports international students during their studies through to their transition into the job market and builds bridges between students, the economy and the region.
Also part of FIT: the Student Living Room!
How Does FIT Work?
International students undergo comprehensive training that accompanies them from the start of their studies to their entry into the regional job market. The program is based on a four-pillar model:
Individual progress is documented in the Employability Pass. Students who attend events from all four pillars and collect a certain number of points successfully complete the pass and receive an official certificate from the University of Siegen attesting to the skills and abilities they have acquired - valuable evidence for future job applications and a helpful indicator for companies.
The Path to the Employability Pass
- Participation in events
- Collect 28 points in 4 categories
