The HYT celebrates its 10th anniversary on 26 June 2026

bild jubiläum hyt

In 2026, the House of Young Talents (HYT) will celebrate its tenth anniversary. To mark this occasion, we cordially invite you to an event on Friday, 26 June 2026, at the Obergraben Seminar Centre (US-S). Together, we would like to look back on the past ten years and at the same time create space for exchange, networking and insights into selected HYT offerings.

Festive Welcome and Champagne Reception

The anniversary event will begin in the morning with a festive welcome (09:30 to 10:30), remarks from the rectorate and a look back at the past ten years of the HYT, followed by a champagne reception. This part of the programme offers an opportunity to engage in conversation and celebrate the anniversary in a festive setting. You are warmly invited to arrive from 09:00 in the foyer of the US-S building, where you may enjoy a cup of coffee, ease into the event, and exchange with fellow guests ahead of the formal proceedings. For organisational reasons, prior registration is required and can be done here.

An entertaining evening programme featuring a pub quiz, accompanied by cold drinks and finger food (from 17:30), rounds off the day in a relaxed atmosphere and offers further opportunities for networking.

Participation in the pub quiz is open to teams of three to five people, which may be composed of members from different disciplines, faculties and status groups. Teams can look forward to a total of three rounds featuring a variety of questions. Between the rounds and afterwards, there will be ample opportunity to enjoy refreshments from the buffet and chat with other guests. At the end of the pub quiz the winners will be honoured and prizes will be given to the teams.

Prior registration is required and can be done here. One person from the team should register the team, providing their own contact details, a team name and the names of the other team members.

Please note that the anniversary event will take place mainly in German, but a selection of the workshops as well as our counselling and information offers will be available in English.
