"Top Viewed Article 2025"

Award for Research in Clinical Psychology

A scientific article by Kseniya Krikova and Prof. Dr. Tim Klucken was recognized by the science publisher Wiley as a “Top Viewed Article 2025” in the journal Human Brain Mapping. The award highlights the article’s outstanding international visibility and underscores its successful contribution to current brain research.

The study was conducted in cooperation with Justus Liebig University Giessen. Using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), the researchers investigated how the brain processes different (medial) reward stimuli. In doing so, the work helps to improve the understanding of key mechanisms involved in reward-related information processing.

The journal Human Brain Mapping is an internationally established venue in the fields of neuroscience and brain research. As a result, the awarded article is among the most-read publications of 2025.
