Professor from Siegen Takes on Nationwide Spokesperson Role

A new leadership role at the German Psychological Society boosts the visibility of clinical psychology at the University of Siegen at the national level.

Prof. Dr. Tim Klucken Named New Spokesperson for the Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy Section

Prof. Dr. Tim Klucken (Chair of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, School II) has been elected the new spokesperson for the Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy Section of the German Psychological Society (DGPs).

With over 900 members, the section is one of the largest groups within the DGPs, representing research, teaching, and academic interests in clinical psychology and psychotherapy nationwide. Its responsibilities include promoting scientific and practical-clinical exchange, addressing issues related to training and continuing education in the field of psychotherapy, and strengthening evidence-based psychotherapeutic care.
