Successful RENT 2025

Researchers from the University of Siegen presented their research findings in several talks at this year's Research in Entrepreneurship and Small Business (RENT) conference in Enschede, the Netherlands, in mid-November: Felix Becker gave an overview of the role and broad application of digital technologies in entrepreneurship research.

Prof. Dr. Dr. Friederike Welter co-authored the poster by Dr. Meike Stephan ("Too small to count? Unmasking the Political Influence of SMEs through Lobbying") and on the presented study "Doing Gender in Elite Families: Why Women in Chinese Elite Families Do Entrepreneurship" by Anna-Katharina Schaper (Technical University of Munich) and Shuang L. Frost (Aarhus University/Denmark). The three authors received the Best Paper Award for their research on female entrepreneurship in China.
