Studying at our partner universities in Europe

As part of the Erasmus program, a study visit to one of our more than 80 European partner universities opens up a wide range of opportunities for professional and personal development. Students benefit from structured funding that not only offers financial support, but also supervision at the partner university. In addition, the program allows students to directly experience the cultural, linguistic and academic diversity of Europe: Different academic traditions and teaching methods broaden perspectives on one's own subject area, while international encounters promote intercultural skills and a deeper understanding of European societies.

Studying at our partner universities worldwide

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Siegen offers a wide range of overseas exchange opportunities.

  • No tuition fees are paid abroad as part of a study stay at our partner universities overseas.
  • The study place is not usually linked to a scholarship .
  • Funding is available through the PROMOS program

Recognition of benefits from abroad

Students first coordinate planned courses and possible recognition with the contact person for recognition in the subject. Depending on the subject combination, this may be several people. They then transfer the agreed courses and modules to the Online Learning Agreement (including the comments made by the subject advisor for recognition). Students then inform their OLA representative that courses have been coordinated and the OLA is ready for the final examination.
