Our Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in German and European business law offer excellent training for a career in a wide variety of fields. Our graduates work in management positions at DAX companies and global management consultancies, in legal departments, as contract managers, in compliance, in insolvency administration and many other professions. They are in high demand on the job market and are correspondingly well paid.

Teaching and research are closely linked, which is why we have been offering topics such as contract negotiation, data protection and data management law, AI law and compliance for our business lawyers for several years and constantly monitor current legislative projects - also through our own research contributions.

The Schlosscampus in Siegen also offers excellent study conditions. In addition to modern lecture halls, a cafeteria integrated into the hillside and a beautiful and bright library where there is always space, you will always have personal contact with your professors and a campus with short distances.

Introduction/Methodology, Working Techniques, Civil Business Law I, Public Business Law I, Accounting and Financial Statements for Business Lawyers, Cost and Revenue Accounting, Investment and Financing, Civil Business Law II, Public Business Law II

Study section II

3rd - 4th semester

Civil Business Law II, Public Business Law II, Corporate Law (Commercial and Company Law), Interdisciplinary Compulsory Elective Area DEWR, Advanced Seminar Law I, Legal English, Compulsory Elective Area Law, Production, Marketing

Study section III

5th semester

International business law, advanced seminar in law II (economics, interdisciplinary skills), law elective, special business administration (DEWR)

6th semester
Internship
Bachelor's thesis

An internship of at least three months in a suitable commercial enterprise, a suitable freelance practice/law firm or in a suitable public body (authority, court) is obligatory as part of the course. The internship can be completed with a business, legal or interdisciplinary focus. A significantly longer internship is recommended for those who want to go straight into business after their Bachelor's degree.
