The healthcare system is facing major challenges: Rural care, an ageing society and the introduction of new, digital practices. The degree program combines the fields of (bio)medicine, technology and health economics and sociology in an interdisciplinary way.
In the Public Health focus area, you will learn to analyze and shape challenges and changes in the healthcare system from a sociological perspective. The focus is on researching and developing new social and cultural approaches to diagnosis, prevention, therapy and aftercare for digitally networked healthcare.
Through cooperation with clinical training partners from the region and research internships, the degree program prepares you for your future career in a practical way.
