Why foreign business languages are important
In companies that operate internationally, smooth communication with partners, customers and colleagues from other countries is essential. It is often not enough just to know the language - cultural nuances, negotiation techniques and industry-specific vocabulary are also crucial. This is where the Foreign Business Languages teaching unit comes in and provides practical training:
-
Specialist vocabulary: Terminological expertise in areas such as trade, finance, law and accounting.
-
Artificial intelligence: efficient use of renowned AI-based translation tools throughout the process.
-
Intercultural competence as an interdisciplinary key competence: raising awareness of cultural differences and their potential influence on interpersonal relationships, increasing individual ability to act in international contexts.
