The dual Bachelor's degree course in Computer Science is a practice-integrated degree course in which parts of the training are carried out in a company and the course is closely interlinked with company practice. It is assumed that the student will take on a corresponding job after completing their studies. The company grants the student a monthly study allowance, which does not have to be repaid if the student works in the company for a sufficiently long period of time.

To enrol in the dual Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, a cooperation agreementmust be concluded between the student, the company and the university.
must be concluded. In the annexes to this contract you will also find more detailed information on the organization of the work and training phase in the company. Before enrolment, the contract must be signed in triplicate by the student and the company. The three signed copies of the contract must then be sent to the University of Siegen, Dezernat 3, Adolf-Reichwein-Str. 2, 57076 Siegen.

In addition, a sponsorship agreement or employment contract should be concluded between the student and the company. A sample contract with explanations can be found on the IHK Siegen website for dual studies.
