AG School Pedagogy for Secondary Schools

We would like to introduce our working group: Our work focuses on questions of school pedagogy in all types and forms of schools at secondary levels I and II. We address the central content and issues of the discipline. At the same time, we are working on a strong regional anchoring of our department within the university city of Siegen and the South Westphalia region.
We offer courses for the teacher training courses at Hauptschulen, Realschulen, Sekundarschulen and Gesamtschulen (HRSGe - with and without integrated special needs education) and teacher training courses at Gymasien and Gesamtschulen (GymGe).

Information on theses
Of course you can write your Bachelor's or Master's thesis with us. We strongly recommend that you proceed as follows:
- Find out on the personal homepage of the lecturer(s) whether they are authorized to supervise and/or assess theses in the educational sciences.
- Some lecturers list subject areas on their personal homepage on which a thesis can be written. Check what might suit your ideas.
- Develop an initial concrete idea for a guiding question and the methodological approach. Your notes form the basis for an initial discussion. Some lecturers would also like to receive an exposé.
- Contact the lecturer early on, at least two to three months before you plan to start writing, with your request and your idea.
- Read the ZLB's information on theses before your first meeting.
