Equality in Professors appointment and staffing procedures
Transparent and gender-equitable appointments are key to increasing the proportion of women at all career levels. At the University of Siegen, the appointment regulations adopted in 2014 and the guidelines for appointment procedures form the basis for filling professorships. Since the 2016/17 winter semester, a subject-specific gender equality quota has also been in place in accordance with Section 37a of the NRW Higher Education Act. The "Recruitment Handbook" is available for all other recruitment procedures
