We have separated. It just couldn't go on like this. Too much routine. Always the same problems. And if something didn't work, it was of course my fault. I made the wrong announcements, gave the wrong information. I often had the feeling that the other side simply didn't understand my wishes and questions. You know how it is. After all these years, it was simply time for something new. And that's why I say: Bye, bye XIMS. The old content management system of the University of Siegen is gradually saying goodbye. Instead, the university website is now new, fresh and modern. Admittedly, the new CMS and I are still getting to know each other. I'm still getting to grips with some things. We have to get used to each other, recognize which buttons to press so that we understand each other properly. But then it could be the start of a wonderful friendship - well, let's not exaggerate - working together.
The new website and the university's new marketing campaign are also topics in this Querschnitt, as are the many outstanding events, celebrations and activities of the past few weeks. We take another look at the busy "Magic May".
