E-mail in case of problems
If you have a problem with using the cluster, the best thing to do is to send us an e-mail to hpc-support@uni-siegen.de. If a job has not worked, please attach the following files:
- The job script that caused the error. The job script is the script that you queued with
sbatch. - The Slurm log file of the job that failed. By default, Slurm log files have the form

If you send your e-mail to this address, a support ticket will be generated in the ZIMT ticket system.
The University of Siegen is also a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian Competence Network for High Performance Computing HPC.NRW. The network offers a competent and thematically broad-based contact and advice center for HPC users in NRW. To ensure basic services for locations without Tier 3 centers and universities of applied sciences, the Tier 2 centers offer uniform, structured access for HPC users at all universities in NRW.
Within the framework of HPC.NRW
a network of thematic clusters for low-threshold training, consulting and coaching services is being created. The aim is to use the high-performance computing and storage facilities effectively and efficiently and also to support recently graduated and post-doctoral scientists. The available resources and offers in the country are also presented transparently.

is a portal for location-independent HPC documentation.
Here you will find specific information about computing centers at different locations as well as general and location-independent information.
