Information about the ZFH
As ZFH , we make a central contribution to the development and strengthening of qualified teaching skills and see ourselves as an integral part of academic staff development in teaching and research. Our aim is to support lecturers in shaping their role in a professional, reflective and future-oriented manner.
In doing so, we address socio-political developments that are trend-setting for academic education. Topics such as digitalization, diversification or education for sustainable development and the associated changes are incorporated into our work and shape the continuous development of university teaching.
The Advisory Board
For different perspectives
The Advisory Board brings together different perspectives in order to identify needs, develop recommendations and actively support the further development of the Center for Academic Teaching. Its recommendations are forwarded to the Prorectorates and, if necessary, to the Rector.
It is made up of students, academic staff, representatives of the Schools, the Center for Teacher Training and Educational Research, an external expert and the Executive Director as an advisory member - this ensures balanced and practical advice.
