The rich and differentiated research landscape in the Schools's disciplines leads to a large number of high-ranking research achievements in a wide variety of fields.
The research achievements are demonstrated, among other things, by nationally and internationally visible publications, conference contributions and the organization of conferences, the supervision of doctoral and post-doctoral theses, as well as the development, acquisition and supervision of third-party funded research projects.

In the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, the types and consequences of social chance processes are investigated both in individual projects and in networked projects, such as demographic change, media change, the transformation of linguistic communication, the types of cultural coding and their historical development.
