Use cases

An institute network can be used to bring devices via WLAN into the same network (VLAN) as devices connected to sockets. This can be useful if the devices cannot be connected via LAN and no alternative WLAN networks can be used (e.g. eduroam, which is user-bound).

Application

A person responsible for a VLAN can request an institute network via the support desk. Please state the desired VLAN.

Activation

To be able to join an institute network of a VLAN (if set up), please contact the person responsible for the respective VLAN.
