Performance-related remuneration for professors
Professors in salary groups W2 and W3 can be granted variable performance-related pay in addition to the basic salary granted as a minimum salary in accordance with the NRW State Salary Act and the NRW University Performance-Related Pay Ordinance. The application procedure for special benefits at a glance:
Please send a written application via the Dean to the Rector with
- Information about the applicant (short CV),
- Details of current remuneration and previous awards of performance-related pay,
- Presentation of the amount of temporary special performance-related pay desired for special achievements,
- Justification with description and - if necessary - proof of the special services rendered,
- if applicable, proposal of a ZLV for the subsequent termination of the performance-related pay, if desired.
The application is first sent to the Dean, who adds a statement and forwards it to the Rector. After preparation by the Human Resources Department, the Rector makes the final decision on the application.
