Your future begins in Siegen
In the supplementary subject Play and Games Studies, you will learn about the history, aesthetics and theories of game(s) close to the material. We analyze analog and digital games in seminars. We examine how games create their own (sub)cultures and what functions game(s) fulfill in our society. This concerns very different areas: games as an entertainment medium, as a means of learning, as an economic factor and many more.
Through initiatives such as the student games initiative USK57, you have the opportunity to engage with games and gaming during your studies.
