The course content covers the basic principles of business administration, with a focus on the experience of media companies and the fundamentals of media law. Students should receive a solid basis for recognizing, analyzing and structuring business management problems that are related to the specific conditions of media products and services.
The course content provides an overview of the most important topics in media business studies and media management and offers opportunities for in-depth study. As a result, students are able to move confidently in business management thought structures and specialist terminology and receive the basic media management training required for their professional practice. In addition, the basics of start-up management are taught as part of one of the courses in order to provide incentives for setting up a business as a professional alternative. In addition to this, students will also learn about media law in the areas of data protection law and the law on word and image reporting, which are essential for professional practice.
