The Siegen University Library regularly hosts changing exhibitions. The spectrum of what is presented is broad and includes research and project results by university members, works by regional artists, traveling exhibitions, private collecting passions and much more.
In the main library Adolf-Reichwein-Straße (AR) there is a separate room (AR-UB 041) on level 0 for the presentation of exhibitions. In the Lower Castle Branch Library (US), smaller exhibitions can be shown in the passageway.

Anniversary exhibition ‘A Future with a History – 25 Years of universi, the University Press of the University of Siegen’ at the Main Library Adolf-Reichwein-Straße (AR)
For 25 years, universi, the University of Siegen’s publishing house, has given a voice and a platform to academics and their research, standing for academic quality, innovation and diversity of publications, and contributing to the university’s profile.
To date, more than 500 books have been published – in print and digital formats – with the catalogue comprising monographs, series, journals, art catalogues, DVDs and more. Founded by scholars in the humanities, the publishing range now reflects the entire spectrum of subjects at the University of Siegen and also includes titles with a regional focus.
To mark the anniversary, the exhibition presents the publishing programme and offers a variety of insights into the creation of the publications.
The exhibition can be viewed from 11 June to 15 August 2026 during the Main Library’s regular opening hours:
Monday to Friday from 09:00 – 20:00, Saturday from 10:00 – 18:00.
