Group study rooms in the library

Gruppenarbeitsraum AR

Group study rooms for teamwork

Modern group study rooms are available at several library locations for project work, presentations or collaborative learning. They are freely accessible throughout opening hours and offer everything you need for productive work: WLAN, power sockets and - depending on the room - whiteboards or monitors for connecting mobile devices.

As the rooms are very popular, we recommend making a reservation in advance.
By the way: Please also note the rules of our library regulations here.

Open group study space

Open group study spaces (OGAs)

Flexible learning, working and interacting – a spontaneous learning space for small teams

In the Main Library Adolf-Reichwein-Straße (AR) you will also find 10 open group study spaces for small groups of up to 4 people.
They are located on floor 0 and in the self-study center on floor 2.

Our OGAs are also equipped with monitors.
You can also take part in online lectures together via the monitors.
=> Please bring a webcam and microphone.
Please be considerate: Only speak as loudly as necessary.

Reservations are not required here - just go and get started.

Connecting monitors with mobile devices

The monitors can all be connected to your smartphone, tablet or laptop via Wi-Fi. An explanation of this can be found in the monitors section.

If this does not work, you can also borrow HDMI cables from the lending desk at the main library AR. The loan period is only valid for one day.

HDMI cables are already securely attached to the monitors in the branch libraries.

If you have any questions, please contact the staff at the circulation desks and information desks.
