Short vita
Junior Professor Dr. Jascha-Alexander Koch studied industrial engineering with a focus on electrical engineering at the Technical University of Braunschweig. His studies focused on finance, economics and communication technology. In his master's thesis, he examined "Risk measures in credit risk management". In his dissertation, Mr. Koch dealt with the topic "Online Crowdfunding Platforms: Campaign Success, Cancellation, and Fraud" and successfully completed his doctorate in July 2019. From 2019 to July 2022, he was a post-doc at the Chair of e-Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt and Research Associate at efl - the Data Science Institute.
