The digital lecture series “Artificial Intelligence in the School Context. AI Competence and Didactic Potential from an International Perspective” examines how school systems around the world are addressing artificial intelligence. Speakers from Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Spain, Greece, and the U.S. will provide insights into research and practice in their respective countries. Topics range from AI literacy and ethical issues to the use of AI for multilingual learners and in virtual exchange formats, as well as visions for schools in 2030. This comparative analysis aims to open up new perspectives on their own teaching for prospective teachers and support them in using AI in a reflective and pedagogically meaningful way.

The lectures in this lecture series count toward the LehramtPLUS certificate (2 AE per lecture, max. 8 AE). If you are participating as part of the LehramtPLUS program, please send a brief registration via email to breitkopf@zlb.uni-siegen.de by 12:00 p.m. on the day of each lecture.
