International Symposium “Trans–: Transculturality, Transmigration, and Comparative Perspectives in Music Education”
The international symposium “Trans–: Transculturality, Transmigration, and Comparative Perspectives in Music Education” will take place on December 5 and 6, 2026, at the Department of Music Education of the Institute of Music at the University of Siegen.
The event will focus on three main themes: transcultural music-making, musical identities in the context of transmigration, and comparative perspectives on music education. International experts from Spain, Austria, Japan, and Germany will share their research and perspectives and foster interdisciplinary exchange.
All members of the University of Siegen, as well as anyone else interested, are cordially invited to attend the event.
