Onboarding for new lecturers at the University of Siegen; Option 2

New lecturers at the University of Siegen often have many questions when starting out in teaching practice. What can a
didactically successful course look like? What needs to be considered when planning, implementing and evaluating
? What (digital) tools are available? And where can you find the right
contact person at the University of Siegen who can advise and support you in case of uncertainties and unanswered questions
?
In this workshop, participants are supported in the student-centered and competence-oriented
planning of their courses and familiarized with the digital
learning platform Moodle used at the University of Siegen and other tools suitable for teaching (e.g. for electronic examinations, ).
The workshop offers an entry point for the acquisition of teaching skills for the use of digital
media or for the targeted further development of existing skills.
With the aim of making the diverse
possibilities of integrating digital media into teaching and learning processes accessible without getting into
"technical stress", teachers will be provided with tools that they can use directly in their everyday teaching at the start of the
new semester.
