Panel Discussion on the Rothaarkamm National Park
The debate over the establishment of a national park in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district is a topic of great interest in the region. The University of Siegen would like to examine the opportunities and risks in a panel discussion and, in particular, attempt to outline possible areas of compromise in the context of the debate surrounding Route 57.
To that end, the university is hosting a public event on October 27, 2026, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Lecture Hall Center on the Unteres Schloss campus (Room: US-C 114).
Panelists:
- Dr. Andree Georg, Forest Farmers’ Association of North Rhine-Westphalia, Siegen-Wittgenstein District Group
- Christian F. Kocherscheidt, EJOT Finance SE & Co. KG
- Guido Müller, PR consultant and head of the SIEGBERG communications network
- Prof. Dr. Hanna Schramm-Klein, University of Siegen
- Prof. Dr. Klaudia Witte, NABU Siegen-Wittgenstein and University of Siegen
The event will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Giuseppe Strina (University of Siegen).
