Prorectorate for Research, Infrastructure, and Networking
Dr. Barbara Müller-Naendrup
The Prorectorate for Teacher Education, Continuing Education, and Sustainability is dedicated to modern educational and academic concepts in the context of teacher education and continuing education. Its core responsibilities include shaping the pedagogical and curricular profiles of the various teacher education programs and the diverse continuing education programs, as well as—in collaboration with the Rectorate—ensuring the continuity and expansion of the university’s sustainability strategy. It works closely with the Prorectorate for Academic Affairs, Teaching, and Quality Management; the associate deans’ offices in the Schools responsible for teacher education; and the Center for Teacher Education and Educational Research. The Prorectorate is supported by the relevant departments of the central administration as well as the university’s institutions for general and vocational continuing education.
